Contribution (Second Project):
For the second mini group project I have contributed in updating the website page and conducting the mass balance for the technology that we proposed, which also includes the block diagram and mini process flow diagram (PFD). Apart from that, I was working on creating the mechanical drawing of the reactor as well as calculating the cost of this reactor. In addition I drew a mini Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) of the complete proposed system.
Reflection on Second Project:
For me, this mini group project was really cognitive and challenging at the same time. It was cognitive cause I learned a lot on how to create those diagrams (PFD, P&ID) related to chemical technologies and chemical plants. On the other hand, the project was really memory refreshing, cause I needed to call to mind how to use AutoCAD and ASPEN HYSYS that we already learned before. I believe that this project will show it real benefits in our final year, when we do our FYP.
Reflection of KRD subject (Up to Week 13):
For Mr.Tazli's part , I would say that he has really unique method of teaching and I like it, because he is trying to implement something new, something more modern and professional. Have to mention, that he is really good in communicating with his students, he would always ask our opinion on the tasks and whatever related to our subject.
Reflection of PSLP subject (Up to Week 13):
I always associate PSLP with HSE, but PSLP is more about formulas and calculations, which we never faced in HSE last semester. As a fan of math, I really enjoy this subject, especially those assignments at the end of the lectures. About Dr. Zul, he is very responsive and dedicated lecturer. Throughout the lectures I can see his diligence to assist every student in the class.
Reflection of CPDIC subject (Up to Week 13):
For Madam Haslinda's part, she is really good in explaining the subject. Normally, she would always solve some question during the class or give a short quiz for revision, that are really helpful. The topics that she covered seem like more easy to understand compared to those in the beginning of the semester.
